abandoned.

sorry that ever since december this blog has pretty much

been abandoned.

on december 17th, 2010.

aaron & i celebrated our 5year anniversary...

it was all very rose-mantic.

he made reservations up at sundance,
(one of my favorite places.)
we walked around in the snow & he proposed!
i... we couldn't be happier or more excited.
(i might be a little more excited about the whole planning part than him though... boys!)

what to do in a "blizzard".

1. go to your local target & stock up on goodies

& starbucks.

2. eat your weight in m&m's & popchips.
(bbq flavor, of course.)

3. wait to drive around in the snow until it's

really windy & you can barely see because of all

the snow.

4. eat your weight in m&m's, again.

5. watch movies.

6. facebook stalk.
(you know you do it, don't judge.)

7. blog.

8. act like rere's with your boyfriend & sister
& laugh until you cry.

9. text your bestie non-stop in ca. updating her

on everything currently going on.

10. listen to ghetto music.

(pandora: nelly station.)

11. play phase 10.

well guess what... i lack patience.

seriously.

i really do.

whatever the case may be...

i just get way too anxious.

whether it's good or bad anxious.

right now, it's a good anxious & i think i just
might die waiting.

after not being able to visit florida at all this summer...
(hair school is sucking up my life!)

which was extremely weird & a first, i get to go for a week.

starting today. thank heavens!

good(fattening)southern food.

the ocean.

sand.

family.

warm air.

... and hanging out with my adorable aunt.

i don't think i've ever been more excited.

nyquil dreams.

the other night when i couldn't breathe due

to my annoying cold, i took a few shots of nyquil...

which resulted to a cracky/5yr old dream.

i dreamed i went on a date with one of the jo-bros,

who looked a lot like zac efron in charlie st.cloud...

i then had to go tell one of steve's attorneys all about

"my date"... and there were bees mixed in there

somewhere too.

told you it was weird.

i'm ready...

for the changing color of the leaves & the
crunching of them beneath my shoes.
as much as i love summer & the beach...
i'm kind of over it & ready for fall.

thai food...

is kind of like thanksgiving dinner.

you just can't stop eating...

even though you kind of want to throw up.

good thing i went to the gym twice today.

maybe it will even out with the massive amount

of food that i consumed tonight?

yesterday was boyfriend's birthday, which

of course we celebrated with sushi & chocolate cake.

(boyfriend loved the trick candles?)

anyways, his lovely sister robyn posted these

little beauties on his facebook & i couldn't

resist sharing.

after having a long & over due talk

with my sister(we laughed, we cried... it was a good talk.),

it made me realize how grateful i am for my
handsome brother & cute, sassy sister.
i love them with all my heart & couldn't ask
for better ones.

... and my mom too. she's an amazing mother.
(see mom, i didn't forget about you.)

i am so blessed & lucky.

on rainy nights...

it's nice to just lay in bed, watch lovey movies
& drink tea.

i recommend...

a couple weeks ago, i was able to see brandi carlile

up at red butte gardens. she was amazing & the location

was just as good. i couldn't imagine a better place for a

summer concert.
if you're ever in the area, i highly recommend going.

ps. speaking of recommendations, if you're in the salt lake or draper area
and you're in dire need of a wax... check out wax me too.

they're the best.
